Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Life's Edge ("the Service," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Life's Edge. By creating an account or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Account Terms

Account Creation

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Life's Edge
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Account Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

Subscription Terms

Free Trial

  • New users receive a 30-day free trial upon account creation
  • No credit card is required to start your trial
  • During the trial, you have full access to all features
  • If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, your account will revert to free access with limited features

Subscription Plans

  • Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis
  • Monthly subscriptions are billed each month on the anniversary of your subscription start date
  • Yearly subscriptions are billed annually on the anniversary of your subscription start date
  • All subscription fees are charged in USD
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription fees.

  • You must provide valid payment information to subscribe
  • You are responsible for keeping your payment information up to date
  • If payment fails, your subscription may be suspended or canceled

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or Stripe Customer Portal
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access to all features until the end of your paid period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • After cancellation, your account will revert to free access with limited features

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with Life's Edge within the first 30 days of your paid subscription, contact us at lifesedgeplatform@gmail.com for a full refund. Refunds are not available after the initial 30-day period or for renewals.

Subscription Changes

  • You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time
  • Upgrades take effect immediately; prorated charges may apply
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for downgrades or cancellations of unused time

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Life's Edge to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

Violation Consequences: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. We may also report violations to law enforcement authorities.

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create and upload to Life's Edge ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all User Content you post or transmit through the Service. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to use and license your User Content
  • Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights
  • Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate. We are not obligated to review all User Content before it is posted.

Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance
  • Unforeseen technical issues
  • Force majeure events
  • Actions by third-party service providers

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFE'S EDGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service
  • Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR ANY INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

  • By You: You may delete your account at any time through your account settings
  • By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
